How do we praise this city and the locals living in this city? Kathmandu is a living example of harmony between religions. Kathmandu, the gateway to the Himalayas, shows all the visiting tourists that the diversity of religions can still thrive under the unity of locals. Kathmandu is decorated with temples, monasteries, shrines, art, and architecture that are connected with mythologies and have the faith of the locals.
Locals have the respect, patience, and tolerance for one another’s beliefs and religions, which is extraordinary. It’s common to see pilgrimage devotees from various religions visiting, respecting, and understanding each other’s traditions and culture. Except for Kathmandu this type of harmony can be seen in other places like Kochi, Malacca, Dubai, and Istanbul, but they still face challenges in maintaining this harmony.
